Filing the final plat with the county

The subdivider must give the director the required number of final plat copies that follow the rules. The director can allow more time if asked in writing before the one-year deadline. The filing date is when the director receives the complete plat.

A. The subdivider shall submit to the director copies of the final plat in the amount required by the director, prepared in conformity with these regulations. For good cause, the director may grant to the subdivider an extension of time within which the subdivider may file such final plat; provided that, the director receives a written request from the subdivider for such purpose before the expiration of the one-year period. B. The time of filing of the final plat shall be taken to mean the time at which the same, together with all required data, is received by the director.
