Pedestrian walkways in long city blocks

If a block is over a certain length, one walkway may be needed; if it's even longer, two are required. These walkways must be open to the public and at least ten feet wide.

In any block over seven hundred fifty feet in length, the director may require creation
of a pedestrian way at or near the middle of the block. If unusual conditions require
blocks longer than eighteen hundred feet, two pedestrian ways shall be required. The
pedestrian ways shall be dedicated for public use and shall have a minimum width of
ten feet.
