Street Tree Planting Plan for Large Subdivisions

When a property is split into four or more lots, the owner must submit a landscaping and irrigation plan that follows the recommended tree types, planting methods, and watering rules. This applies to new subdivisions, but not to ones already approved before the rule took effect.

For any subdivision of property into four or more lots, the property owner shall provide a landscape planting and irrigation plan which follows the landscape planting plan's recommendations relating to planting methods, irrigation, and types of trees. ( Ord. No. 4816 § 9, 2018) Editor's note— Ord. No. 4816 § 11, adopted March 9, 2018 "shall take effect on July 1, 2018; provided that subdivisions that have received preliminary subdivision approval prior to the effective date of this ordinance shall not have to comply with [section 18.20.095] and may be processed for subdivision under the previous applicable laws.
