When can you move into a building in a subdivision?

This rule says when you can occupy a building in a subdivision. Generally, you must wait until the county approves the required improvements. But the county may let you move in earlier if officials decide it's safe and won't harm the public.

Occupancy of any building in a subdivision will not be allowed until and after final approval of improvements required by section 18.20.270 of this title has been issued; provided, however, that where the director, and other involved reviewing agencies are satisfied that there will be no detriment to the public health, safety or general welfare, buildings may be occupied prior to final approval of improvements required by section 18.20.270 of this title.
