How the Council Services Office is Organized

This section sets up the office that helps the County Council. The director runs the office and supervises the staff. The staff includes everyone in the office except the director.

A. The director of council services shall be the administrative head of the office of council services and shall supervise all members of the council services staff to provide the necessary assistance of all members of the council in the performance of their legislative duties which includes stenographical, research and other assistance to the members of the council, individually and collectively, and any other duties that may be assigned to the director by the council chair. B. A council services staff is established. "Council services staff" includes all personnel in the office of council services, excluding the director. (Ord.
