This section sets the terms for the seven members of the affirmative action advisory council. It says the same rules that apply to other county boards and commissions also apply here. Members serve staggered terms of two, three, four, or five years.

Section 13-2 of the revised charter of the County of Maui shall apply to the affirmative action advisory council in the same manner as said provisions apply to boards and commissions recognized by the revised charter; provided that of the seven members appointed, two shall serve for a term of five years, two shall serve for a term of four years, two shall serve for a term of three years, and one shall serve for a term of two years.
