A.
Establishment. There is established a police officer, firefighter, and bandsperson
pension board as provided by law. (See section 88-153 of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes.)
B.
Organization, duties, and function. The organization and the duties and functions
of the board of trustees of the police officer, firefighter, and bandsperson pension
fund of the County shall be as provided by law, except that the board shall be attached
to the department of finance, and the director of finance shall be ex-officio secretary
and treasurer of the board. (See section 88-153 of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes.)
