Salary Commission Sets Pay for County Department Heads

In addition to the powers, duties, and functions established by article 3 of chapter
5 of the revised charter of the County of Maui, the salary commission shall, unless
otherwise provided by law, determine the compensation of the department head and first
deputy or first assistant of all County departments enumerated in the charter, in
accordance with such principles, conditions, and procedures, as prescribed by law.
