A.
The cost of transportation of officers and employees of the County who travel on official
business shall be paid for by the County from such fund or funds as may be established
in the County budget, as follows:
1.
Air fare;
2.
Ground transportation reimbursement, not to exceed thirty dollars per day per person,
unless additional reimbursement is authorized as provided in section 2.48.050B. Ground
transportation may include options offered under vehicle rental contracts which reduce
or limit the liability of the County.
B.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit an officer or employee from
engaging in personal travel in conjunction with travel on official business; provided,
however, the County shall pay transportation costs attributable to official business
travel, only.
