This section defines two terms used in this chapter: "County property" and "sidewalk." It explains what land and areas count as County property, and what counts as a sidewalk. No rules or penalties are included here.

Whenever used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires: "County property" means any real property owned or under the control or management of the County, including any county highway, drainageway, sidewalk, right-of-way, park, building, community center, or other facility. "Sidewalk" means any portion of a street between a curbline or the pavement of a road and the adjacent property line, including any setback area acquired by the County for road-widening purposes.
