When used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meaning given in this section, unless it shall be apparent from the context that a different meaning is intended: "Applicant" means a candidate, candidate committee, political party, or service bureau. "Candidate" means an individual as defined under chapter 11, part XIII (A), Campaign Finance, of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, as amended. "Candidate Committee" means any person as defined under chapter 11, part XIII (A), Campaign Finance, of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, as amended. "Clerk" means the county clerk or an authorized representative. "Political party" means any party as defined under chapter 11, part V, Parties, of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, as amended. "Service bureau" means a firm registered to do business in the State and whose principal business is furnishing data processing services. "Voter registration data" means any information relating to voter registration required to be filed with the county clerk pursuant to section 11-15, of the Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, as amended. "Voter registration data storage device" includes any voter registration data that has been electronically duplicated onto a storage device such as a compact disc. (Ord. No. 4129, § 1, 2014)
