How the County Decides to Get Rid of Property

Upon receipt of an application pursuant to section 2.72.030 , the director shall consider the same and may call for further statements in connection
therewith; the director may approve or disapprove the application, or may authorize
another method of disposal. If the director finds that it is advantageous to the county
to sell the personal property, the director shall estimate its fair market value,
set an upset price, and offer it for sale.
