Submitting outdoor lighting plans

A.
All outdoor lighting fixtures must conform to this chapter and chapter 16.18B , as applicable, and to any permit and inspection requirements of this chapter and
chapter 16.18B . An applicant for any electrical permit required for the installation of an outdoor
lighting fixture, except residential outdoor lighting fixtures, must submit to the
director information sufficient to show that the proposed installation will comply
with this chapter. The submission must include the following:
1.
The location of the property where the outdoor lighting fixtures will be installed.
2.
Plans describing the locations of the outdoor lighting fixtures on the property.
3.
A description of the outdoor lighting fixtures, including manufacturer's catalog cuts
and drawings.
B.
The information required by subsection A must be sufficiently complete to enable the
director to readily determine if the proposed installation complies with this chapter.
When plans and specifications are required for an electrical permit by chapter 16.18B , the electrical engineer certifying the plans and specifications must also certify
in writing that all proposed outdoor lighting fixtures comply with this chapter.
