County agencies must file quarterly budget reports

Every county agency must send a budget report to the county within 30 days after each quarter of the fiscal year. The report must list jobs that have been empty for 90 days or more and explain why, and it must update progress on the agency's goals.

A. A budget implementation report shall be transmitted by each county agency within thirty days after the end of each quarter of the fiscal year. The first quarter report shall relate to the preceding period from July 1st through September 30th. The second quarter report shall relate to the preceding period from July 1st through December 31st. The third quarter report shall relate to the preceding period from July 1st through March 31st. The fourth quarter report shall relate to the preceding period from July 1st through June 30th. B. Each budget implementation report shall include the following information: 1. A report of each position vacant for ninety days or more as of the end of the reporting period, together with the reason for the vacancy, the duration of the vacancy, the status of personnel actions taken to fill the vacancy, and the anticipated date that the vacancy will be filled; 2.
