As used in this chapter, unless the context otherwise requires:
"Director" means the director of transportation of the County.
"Fare" means the amount charged for public transit services.
"Public transit services" or "public transit" is defined as bus services, mass transit,
or other transportation service contracted or performed by the County for the benefit
of the general public.
