How the transit director runs the bus system

The transit director is in charge of collecting bus fares and can make deals with other groups to run transit and collect money. The director can also create rules to make this law work.

A. The director shall collect, or cause to be collected, fares for public transit services. B. The director, through the director of finance, may contract with parties, private or public, as necessary to provide public transit services and to collect public transit service fares. C.
