How parking fees can be spent

A.
The parking revenue fund is established primarily for the purpose of providing funding
for the County's parking operations, including maintenance, repair, security, safety,
improvement, equipment, beautification, expansion, staff compensation, parking facility
bond payments, and other costs related to providing County parking services. Once
those costs have been fully met, any surplus money within the fund may also be used
for the purposes described in subsection 3.31.020 (B).
B.
Surplus money from the parking revenue fund may only be applied toward the following
types of projects:
1.
Maintaining or improving County parks.
2.
Expanding and enhancing public transportation, pedestrian, and bicycle infrastructure
or programs.
3.
Improving safety, wayfinding, or maintenance of neighborhood business districts.
4.
Protecting and acknowledging sensitive cultural and environmental sites.
