MCC §3.40.060

County property must be leased through public bidding

This section says the County cannot lease or rent its land or buildings, or any concession space in them, unless it first advertises for sealed bids as required by this chapter. There is an exception listed in another section. This is a procedural rule about how the County must handle property deals.

Unless expressly excepted in section 3.40.180 , no real property or any concession or concession space in any building or on any land owned by or under the jurisdiction of the County shall be leased, rented, or let except under contract let after public advertisement for sealed tenders in the manner provided in this chapter.
