Council authority to sell or give county land

This section says the county council can decide to sell or give away county-owned land or easements by passing a resolution. The council may hold a public hearing before doing so, but it is not required. Other laws and rules in this chapter still apply.

A. Except as otherwise provided by law and subject to other provisions of this chapter, the council may, by resolution, authorize the disposition of real property in fee simple or easements. B. The council may hold a public hearing prior to the adoption of any resolution authorizing the disposition of real property in fee simple under this chapter. (Ord.
