Board of review: rules and forms

This section gives the board of review the power to make its own procedural rules and forms, including for subpoenas. These rules have the same legal effect as a law. It is a narrow, procedural section.

The board shall have power consistent with this chapter and chapter 91, Hawaiʻi Revised Statutes, to make rules relating to procedure, and to prescribe forms to be used, including procedures and forms for the issuance of subpoenas and other process by the board as members thereof. The rules shall have the force and effect of law. (Ord. 1406 § 1, 1984)
