Council waiver

The County Council can choose to skip a rule in this chapter if a majority votes to do so. But just passing an ordinance does not mean the Council automatically waived any rule. This section only covers how the Council can waive requirements.

The council may waive, by majority vote, any requirement of this chapter, provided that a waiver shall not be implied from a vote on the passage of any ordinance. (Ord. 1356 § 1 (part), 1983)
