Definitions for County Parking and Alcohol Rules

This section defines two terms used in this chapter: "intoxicating liquor" and "municipal parking lot." It tells you what these words mean for the rules that follow. It does not create any duties or penalties by itself.

In this chapter, unless a different meaning is plainly required, the following definitions apply: "Intoxicating liquor" means the same as the term is defined in section 281-1 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes. "Municipal parking lot" means and includes the entire area within any county-owned or operated off-street parking lot or facility, including but not limited to, parking and loading stalls, designated parking areas within county parks, landscaping strips, internal roadways and roadways for ingress to and egress from such parking lot or facility.
