A retailer found to violate this chapter must pay administrative fines as follows.
A.
For the first violation:
1.
$2,500 for the first day of the violation.
2.
$5,000 for each day the violation continues beyond the first day.
B.
For a second or subsequent violation:
1.
$5,000 for the first day of the violation.
2.
$10,000 for each day the violation continues beyond the first day.
