The ordinance, as written (Maui County) — Applicability

Radioactive materials being regulated hereunder are the following:
A.
All materials which enter into or are produced as a part of the nuclear fuel cycle,
including milled uranium ore, fissile material, and all fission byproducts.
B.
Any quantity of radioactive material specified as a "large quantity" by the Nuclear
Regulatory Commission which is defined in 10 CFR, Part 71, as amended.
C.
Any quantity of radioactive waste, including non-radioactive material contaminated
with radioactive material, which has been produced in the nuclear fuel cycle or otherwise.
