Read the official text at honolulu.gov ↗

This section says that police and other officers who can seize loose dogs must give the dog's owner or caretaker a ticket. The ticket tells them to go to the district court's violations bureau. The person can pay bail within seven days, and if they don't show up in court, they lose the bail.
