Agricultural vehicle drivers must stop before crossing a highway

Before entering or crossing a highway, they must stop and let other vehicles pass if those vehicles are close enough to be a danger. After yielding, they may continue.

The driver, engineer, or person in charge of any vehicle, whether operated on rails or roadways, used in agricultural work, shall not cause or permit such vehicle to enter upon or cross any highway without first stopping and yielding the right-of-way to any vehicle crossing or about to cross the intersection or that is approaching so closely on such highway as to constitute an immediate hazard, but having so yielded may proceed.
