Safety glass required in new and damaged motor vehicles

This rule says that new motor vehicles sold must have safety glass in all doors, windows, and windshields. If any glass in a motor vehicle is shattered or broken, it must be replaced with safety glass. This applies to anyone selling or repairing vehicles.

(a) A person may not sell any new motor vehicle, unless the new vehicle is equipped with safety glass wherever glass is used in doors, windows, and windshields. (b) Glass, wherever used in doors, windows, and windshields of any motor vehicle, which is shattered or broken must be removed and replaced with safety glass )
