Consistent with Charter § 6-107(h), there shall be a climate change commission consisting of five members with expertise in climate change in Hawaii. The climate change commission will be governed by Charter § 13-103, and shall: (1) Gather the latest science and information on climate change effects in the city and provide advice as is deemed appropriate to the executive, the mayor, the council, and city departments and agencies; and (2) At a minimum, meet quarterly, unless meeting is deemed unnecessary by a majority of the commission members.
