Appealing a fire chief's decision on time extensions

Any appeal from the decision of the fire chief involving the denial of any deviation or extension of time may be submitted to the board of appeals as specified in the building code. The board may grant a deviation or extension of time if it finds that the time period appealed from poses an undue hardship, provided the total time of compliance shall not exceed seven years from the receipt of the written list of items as specified in § 20-2.5 .
