For the purposes of this article, the following definitions apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning. Consolidation. Combining of two or more lots into one lot. The term shall include reconsolidation, and when appropriate to the context, shall relate to the land consolidated, and may include consolidation of unregistered land with registered land. Director. The director of planning and permitting. Subdivider. A person, firm, corporation, partnership, association, trust, or other entity, or any combination thereof, who is the owner of the land to be subdivided or consolidated, or the duly authorized agent or lessee of the owner. Subdivision. Division of land into two or more lots, parcels, sites, or other divisions of land, including designation of easements, for the purpose, whether immediate or future, of sale, lease, rental, transfer of title to or interest in, any or all of such lots, parcels, sites, easements, or other divisions. The term shall include resubdivision, and when appropriate to the context, shall relate to the land subdivided. )
