Tell buyers or renters about special land taxes

Before selling or leasing land that has a special tax and lien on it, the owner must tell the buyer or renter about that tax and lien. This section only requires that notice.

Before entering into an agreement to sell or lease a parcel of land subject to a special tax levy and lien, the parcel owner shall notify the prospective buyer or lessee of the existence of the levy and lien.
