Appealing a fine from the ethics commission

If the ethics commission fines you, you can appeal that fine to the ethics board of appeals. You must file your appeal within 30 days of when the commission mails or delivers its decision to you.

Any person aggrieved by a civil fine imposed by the ethics commission may appeal the civil fine to the ethics board of appeals within 30 days of the mailing or service of the decision by the ethics commission.
