When the county can take away a ride-hailing company's license

The director may suspend or revoke the registration of a private transportation company, and suspend or revoke all of the certifications of its private transportation drivers, if a private transportation company has been found to have engaged in a pattern or practice of violating this article governing the certification of private transportation drivers or vehicles, or the inspections or audits by the department. Any notice of intent to suspend or revoke the private transportation company’s registration based upon multiple violations within a six-month period will issue by personal service or by certified mail, to the mailing address of the private transportation company listed in the private transportation company’s registration with the department pursuant to § 36-6.3 , and afford the private transportation company an opportunity to be heard in accordance with the procedures set forth in § 36-6.14 .
