Exceptions to the sound device rules

This section lists two exceptions to the city's sound device rules. It only covers sounds from city-sponsored events in public buildings and sound systems that are part of a public building for approved programs. It does not cover other sound uses.

The following shall be exceptions to § 41-9.2 : (1) The use of sound amplifying devices for any program to be held in a public building sponsored by the city; and (2) Any sound device which is wired into, built in, or made a part of a public building, which is used for any program authorized therein for which the public building has been specifically constructed or for which a specific type of program therein has been authorized by the department head. )
