Free city fees for 100-year-old residents with a special medallion

This section lets residents who are 100 years old or older get a special medallion that waives certain city fees. The transportation director gives out the medallion, and it can be renewed each year.

The ordinance, as written (Honolulu County) — Centenarian medallion

Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, centenarian residents of the city with a valid centenarian medallion shall receive a waiver of certain city fees. The director of transportation services is responsible for the issuance of the centenarian medallion. The centenarian medallion may be renewed annually.
